Bus Passes

- The best way to get around is by bus/public transportation
- You should buy a bus pass to save money if you’re going to use it a lot
— DO NOT a “concession” pass (student pass) –> This is meant for local students (not students who are abroad — cops tend to inspect buses sometimes and if you are caught with a student pass you can be fined)
- We recommend you buy a “regular monthly”, “weekly”, or “travel 10″ pass

Cell Phones

- We recommend you get a SIM Card for your American cell phone that works internationally (Esp. if you are using a blackberry)
- Purchase an additional phone once you’re in Sydney for making local calls (Vodafone)…it should not cost too much
- Prepaid SIM Cards
